How It All Began with Splash Floral & Event Design
Hey there, and welcome to Splash Floral & Event Design! I bet you're wondering how we became the go-to spot for all things flowers in downtown Midland, right? Well, it all started back in the '90s, a time of grunge music, flashy fashion, and for me, a burgeoning love for floral design, especially in the context of events and weddings.
In 2012, I took the plunge and started my own venture, Splash Events, all while working out of my home. My storage unit? A little nook in my condo building where I kept all the floral magic before taking it to events. People loved what I was creating so much they began asking where my flower shop was. "A flower shop?" I thought, "Now that's an idea!" And that idea took shape into a bricks-and-mortar reality in 2016 as Splash Floral & Event Design, right here on Main Street!
Through the years, we've faced everything, even a global pandemic, and came out stronger. This year, we've won the Readers Choice Award for Favourite Floral Designer. I couldn't be happier for taking that leap back in 2015 to open this wonderful floral boutique.
